DCUC Robin - Freddie Williams II Style

Yep, another Tim Drake Robin. This one was made for Freddie Williams II. I met Freddie at SDCC (one of the nicest and most gracious creators I met there) last year and while he was doing a quick Batman sketch for me, I told him about the custom Robins I had made. Freddie gave me his email and asked if I would email him some pics. He was impressed and asked if I would make one for him. So we worked out a trade, I made him a Robin and he drew me a portrait of Batman (Bruce) and Robin (Tim).

Basically the same as my last custom Robin except I used the cape from the DCD Batman & Son Series Robin and I used the lower legs from a Movie Masters TDK Batman which I had to sand down and re-sculpt. Quite honestly sculpting the boots from scratch was easier.

DCUC Green Lantern Modern Costume

Howdy y'all, here's my newest custom; Green Lantern Hal Jordan in his modern/Van Sciver look. There's a nice long write up about it over at AFP.com, if you desire to check it out.

• DCUC Green Lantern Head, Upper Bod, Arms & Lower Legs
• DCUC Black Manta Waist & Upper Legs
• Sculpted Gloves, Boot Tops, Modifications to Ring with Aves Fixit Sculpt
• Hair Sculpted with Super Sculpey and then a Cast of it was made – see below
• Green is FasKolor FasPearl Green – had to be applied via Airbrush
• Model Masters Flat Black and Flat White (used airbrush for the white)
• Lantern Symbol is Custom made Vinyl Decal *Thanx Synner!*

The Blue Devil

You've probably figured out from the picture that this isn't a custom of the DC Comics Blue Devil. This Blue Devil was created by my customer, Matt Spaulding back when he was in the 6th grade. Matt's Blue Devil could best be described as a mix of Green Hornet and Batman.
